Poll results are in...

It was a close race, but the winner of "Favorite Harry Potter Novel" is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

There were no votes at all for the first two books, and the last two books tied for second place. I am not surprised - I think that the series really started to take off with the third installment - that's when I became seriously hooked.

Thanks to those who voted. And don't forget to vote in the new poll - it's all about books (of course).

  1. I voted for Half Blood Prince, but I have to agree that the books really started taking off for me too with Prisoner of Azkaban. I'm loving these new polls! Very fun :) But I can't vote on this new one because it says "currently not available, please come back later" :(

  2. I voted for "Prisioner of Azkaban" because I too only got hooked with this book. Plus, I think the plot is absolutely brilliant! The ending is SO surprising, and yet it makes perfect sense. Everything fits together perfectly. It was with this book that I realized just how talented Rowling is.

  3. Chris - I think it would be hard for me to vote for the last book because, even though it was amazing, I hated that it was the end! I guess that's kind of silly, but still! :-) I'm loving the new polls, too. But I can't even delete this new problem one - Blogspot "is aware of the problem," however, so hopefully I'll get it up and running soon.

I totally agree with you, Nymeth - I think that Rowling really found her stride with that third book. It's hard to choose a single one, though, since together they form one cohesive story.
