Here is my list (in no particular order):
1. House of Many Ways by Diana Wynne Jones
2. Savvy by Ingrid Law
3. City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
4. Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
5. Blood Noir by Laurell Hamilton
6. The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart
7. Embrace the Night by Karen Chance
8. Iron Kissed by Patricia Briggs
9. The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
10. My Bonny Light Horseman by L.A. Meyer
I haven't read all that many books from 2008, but these are my favorites of the ones I have read. I am about halfway into Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book and have a pretty strong feeling it's going up on that list, too! I will update for the next few weeks, as Dewey suggests. I look forward to checking out everyone else's lists, now that I've finally had a moment to put mine together.
I haven't read any of those yet!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read most of the books other people have posted, either - it makes me feel like a reading slacker! :-)
ReplyDeletemaybe I should put some of these in my tbr pile
ReplyDeleteI'll be curious to hear what you think of them if you do! I'd say, judging from your blog reviews, you'd probably enjoy The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks.
ReplyDeleteI bet House of Many Ways will be added to my list once I read it!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm really looking forward to your review of The Graveyard Book :)
